They are completed in one year, in Year 12, with lessons timetabled during the school day.

Super-Curricular Enrichment

It is important that our students are taught recognise and value the role of the super-curriculum in deepening their knowledge, and joy, in their chosen subjects. The super-curriculum incorporates a range of activities linked to a subject but that allow them to explore their knowledge in a broader context that is separate from the curriculum.

This includes:

  • University Masterclasses
  • Massive Open Online Courses (MOOCS) completed via Unifrog
  • University Visits
  • Subject Trips
  • Early Entry Applicant Support Sessions (Medics, vet, dentists, Oxbridge)
  • Work Experience
  • External Speakers
  • Academic writing workshops
  • CV writing sessions
  • UCAS Exhibition
  • Study Skills and Revision Support
