Safeguarding

If you have any safeguarding concerns about your child/ren or any other children that attend King Charles I School please call the school office (01562 512880) and ask to speak to one of the Safeguarding Team, who will ensure the concern is dealt with quickly and sensitively.

If you are concerned about a child’s safety when the school is closed, you should call Social Care or the Police.

Reach 4 Wellbeing

Part of the Starting Well Service in Worcestershire. They promote and support emotional wellbeing for children and young people aged 5-19 years old.

School Health Nurses

Trained to help with emotional, mental and physical issues. They offer a face-to-face high school drop in service in all secondary high schools. They can support young people with issues such as; self-harm, sexual health, relationships, bullying, healthy eating, emotional health and lifestyle choices. You can use the school nursing text service (ChatHealth) on 01562 514555. This is not 24 hours, but a response will be received and further support will be signposted by the nursing team. We can also make referrals to the sexual health nurse. Medical support is treated as confidential.
