Exam Results

Students and staff at King Charles I School are in high spirits following the release of their A level, vocational and GCSE results. Our students have collected their results and are now making the final arrangements for the next stage of their lives. Whatever their destination, we are immensely proud of the accomplishments of all our students.
Those heading to university this September will be attending institutions across the UK including Oxford and Warwick. Reflecting the academic interests and talents of this year group, students will study a wide range of courses, from Law to Medicine, Astrophysics to Policing and Engineering to Teaching. We wish them all great success.
Honourable mentions go to Fatima Anwar (A* A* A* A*), Leo Sutton (A* A* A B) Matilda Brothwell (A* A A), Georgia Hilton ( A* A* A B) and Alex King (A A A B). Fatima is looking forward to joining the University of Dundee to study Medicine. Leo and Matilda are excited to accept their offers to read Law and Astrophysics at Oxford and Warwick respectively and Georgia is going to Manchester to study Law.
At GCSE, some fantastic results were achieved by Dean Visser, Annabel Grove, Amelia Pitt, William Guest, and Erin Dexter who all achieved 8 top grades between 7-9. Many of these students, we are delighted to say, are staying with us for their sixth form journey!
Headteacher Ruth Allen said, “The commitment, talent and resilience of our students never fails to amaze me and our students have been rewarded for their continued hard work and determination with excellent results. My thanks go out to all our parents/carers who have supported us throughout as well as a huge thank you to our hard working staff who are committed to ensuring that all our students receive the education they deserve. A huge well done to all!”
