School Achieves Excellence in Safeguarding Commitment Award
This recognition reflects our ongoing dedication to creating a safe, supportive, and inclusive environment where every child can learn, grow, and thrive. The award acknowledges the hard work and commitment of our staff, governors, and wider school community in maintaining the highest standards of safeguarding practice.
Safeguarding remains at the heart of everything we do. Through regular training, robust policies, and a strong culture of vigilance and care, we ensure that the wellbeing of our pupils is always our top priority.
Members of our school safeguarding team have said they are proud of the safeguarding culture within our school. All staff care deeply for our students and support them and their families with all aspects of their welfare from issue with friendships, mental health, SEND to supporting with problems in school and at home. Safeguarding is a journey we take together to ensure the well-being of every student who attends King Charles. Students know that they can approach any staff member with a problem, and it will always be taken seriously, and they will always be supported. (Mrs Wing)
We are really proud to receive the ‘Excellence in Safeguarding’ award which reflects the hard work and dedication of our pastoral team, working closely with families and keeping our students safe. (Mr Gibson)
We would like to thank our staff, pupils, parents, and carers for their continued support in helping us uphold these important values.
