King Charles I School Achieves Trauma Informed Schools Recognition
Through extensive training, professional reflection and the successful completion of the recognition process, they have developed a deeper understanding of how trauma and adverse experiences can affect learning, behaviour and emotional wellbeing. Their achievement reflects our school’s commitment to creating a safe, nurturing and inclusive environment where every child feels understood, valued and supported.
The knowledge and strategies they have gained will help strengthen our whole-school approach, enabling colleagues to better recognise and respond to the needs of vulnerable students. This recognition is an important step in ensuring that every young person has the opportunity to thrive both academically and personally.
We are incredibly proud of their hard work, perseverance and commitment to improving outcomes for our students. Congratulations to Ms Sutton and Ms Bates on this well-deserved achievement and congratulations on receiving the Level 5 Diploma!
